Image expander Highslide JS
« on: 09.10.08, 00:38:43 »
I have added the image expander Highslide JS at this site.
For now, it's only for expand thumnail they attached in posts. If more as one image exist in a topic, you can show all without scroll to the next/previous post.
For next, I will add the expander to Boardnews and Newpost block, so you can read the full message in the expander ...

Check it out ...

Great!  Is it possible to have a flag to either turn it on or off?

I used to have lightbox installed on my live site, but had to remove it by popular request; because people in my forum like to compare enlarged pictures of koi side by side instead of viewing single picture.

Now I have add HighSlide also to the New Topics block (what you see at the frontpage).
If you move the mouse over the shorten message, the text is dimmed and a help pointer is shown.
If you now click on the dimmed range, the full message is show in a HighSlide popup. Have the message a image attach, you can click  that thumnail in the popup and a new HihgSlide popup is open, with the fullsize image.

Check it out ...
