pmx-subforums and theme paths, etc
« on: 17.03.12, 03:00:04 »
Yesterday I was looking at the html codes on the forum... and saw a lot of paths to other places (not the current domain)

The index.template file uses things like $settings['theme_url'] , $settings['default_theme_url'] , $settings['images_url'] ... (and those variables are used by many mods too)

That kind of resulting paths... can be a cause of problems?
Or it just loads every file from anywhere (as all those paths are aliased, etc...)... and everything works the same, even if it used on other domain?

All these variables are stored in the Table smf_themes, so the theme_url and all other points to the theme url of the domain under there the Theme is installed. So this have no effect if you switch to a subdomain or domain alias...
Many are stubborn in relation to the path, a few in relation to the target.
