We started the next major release of PortaMx and follow we will add..

1) Support for SimpleSEF
  We think, that SlammedDime is not willing to add the PortaMx hook.
  So we want to go a other way and redesign the page requests urls.

2) Categories / Articles
  a. Category manager to create, edit, delete, move, order
  b. Handling for Subcats and Access settings
  c. Article manager to reate articles with html editor, bbc editor, script or php
  d. Access settings (overwrite category access or for articles without categories)
  e. Handling for publish, approve, lock, unlock

2.1) Articles for a specific Membergroup
  a. Each member in a group can create, edit, delete articles
  b. Can be set to approve/not approve
  c. Admin must setup a categorie for this

2.2) Settings for articles / categories
  a. Membergroup created articles
  b. How to show requested categories
    b1. normal view with/without text shorten, nbr articles on page
    b2. single article view with side naviagtion

2.3) Article/categorie viewing
  a. by request:
    a1. single article - url/?art=name or id
    a2. categorie - url/?cat=name or id
  b. on front page:
    b1. setup in a block
    b2. access and show methode is given by block settings

The set of new functions made me feel the portal will be one of the most requested ones and I started doing the Turkish Translation. May be in time we can have a Turkish support board as well

It's been interesting to watch the development of PortaMx. It has come a long way since the first releases.

We have other interests as the most portal developer. Not the amount of features, the amount of support, quality and secure coding is for us the top point.
