Next weeks Timeline

As a number of incompatibilities with existing SEO / SEF modifications were observed, we decided before the major release an update for the portal system and for the blog system.

In anticipation of the Major release were installed a few new features. Following has been changed or expanded:
  • Single pages are now with url/index.php?spage=pagename requestable. This shown in SEF as url/spage,pagename.
  • In the custom settings to hide or show a block or panels now we use the wildcards * and ? to match a pagename. The * stands for 0 or any number of characters, the ? for 0 or one character.
  • The blocks new_post, board_news and multiple_boardnews we have enhanced with a few visual settings, so that now even more detail of the contents can be set.
  • In the block manager overview now can be processed all the titles directly. A click on the title will open a popup in which can be edited the title for each installed language.
  • For the Block move and Block clone we have also adapt small popup windows.
  • Finaly we have fixed some smaller bugs in the code and the css files.

We hope that this update can be developed in the next 2 weeks.

are you still waiting for SlammeDime to release his 1.03 SimpleSEF update
before you will release your new update ?

What abot the Charter Member thing ?
Are you going to offer releases to paying Charter members earlier ?

No .. currently we make the last tests and work on german language. If all done, we relase the new version.

It seems SlammedDime wanted to release still today his new SimpleSEF version.
Maybe you can still wait for so long and test it with your new version so all
goes well with it ?

We need no specials on SSEF so we don't wait for a new release of SSEF.

The new PortaMx version 0.980 will be released to the Charter Member in the next 2 days.

Check it out with RC3 .. 2 smaller changes in the install routine and it works.

I have found a bug, so the RC3 don't work with SSEF 1.0.2
But .. we was not the PortaMx corp. if we have not a fix for that problem  ;D

So I can say .. all worked, also with the themes they we use here on PortaMx.

Now, we make a lot of test runs and if all done, the release for RC3 is developed to the Charter Member.
